What worries me most is, that killing icy rocknoses doesn't make any sens now. Hardened bricks aren't exactly needed in armors and smelting and more, literally just high end building items that you won't be repairing constantly or crafting constantly.ДЄlso, resin is still a massive bottleneck and steel reinforcements are still needed for t3 insulated. Plus it's still the cornerstone on half the northern recipes, every high tier item repair, etc. With how it is now it allows people that don't live in the snow to benefit from it and use it with the occasional trip (kind of like how people handle brimstone and the like). Black ice is basically restricted to one region (Ymir blows for crafting it). basically the only limit is on the speed and patience of the players. The thing about reg T3 is anyone can craft it no matter where they are and they can craft it in bulk if they are cooperating, trading, or what not. On a 1x server with decent competition among players for the resource it might not be as bad. Plus you're speaking from the standpoint of a 2x server. Anyone wanting black ice has to trek all the way over there, deal with the cold (when temps are working right), and deal with the tons of high hp enemies.
